MiRO Mineraloelraffinerie Oberrhein GmbH & Co. KG, a leading company in the crude oil processing industry, specializes in the production of high-quality mineral oil products. With a sophisticated product range - from petrol and diesel to heating oil, propylene and bitumen - MiRO plays a central role in energy supply. As a contract processor, the competent team impresses well-known shareholders such as Shell, Esso, Rosneft and P66.
At MiRO, the need to replace the internally developed loading processing program was paramount. Both the long-term maintenance and further development as well as ensuring the essential 24/7 support could no longer be handled by the company's own staff. A future-proof solution had to be found in order to cope with demographic change and actively support innovations on the market.
The implementation of VERA-V3 brought numerous benefits for MiRO. For example, the modernization of the loading processes led to a significantly simplified infrastructure. Visualized processes provided additional transparency and the station handling could be replaced. One of the outstanding points, however, was the noticeable reduction in the workload of the IT staff, as VERA-V3 and our team now took over many of the tasks that had previously been performed.
