DS-Mineralöl GmbH faced several challenges at the start of the project. On the one hand, biomass balancing was to be optimised and digitalised, and on the other, the process for complying with legal requirements was to be handled more efficiently and reliably.
The company's previous software solution was an in-house development.
However, because legal requirements were becoming increasingly complex and efficiency demands were rising, those responsible wanted to replace the old software and implement an already established, proven industry software. The VTA solution CEEMAS offered exactly what they had in mind. The search for alternative systems was therefore unnecessary.
Thanks to the introduction of CEEMAS, DS-Mineralöl has been able to demonstrably optimise its processes. Employees have noticed a significant simplification in verification management, balancing and calculating the biofuel quota. In addition, compliance with sub-quotas and the cap has been optimised. This was made possible by consistently digitalising and automating the processes. This has also eliminated sources of error. The entire area of responsibility now benefits from CEEMAS and enjoys enormous time savings. The complex legal requirements can now be implemented flawlessly and reliably. Employees can always be sure that they fulfil the requirements. Because if the legal situation changes, VTA implements the necessary adjustments in the system promptly.
