Loading takes place in several steps, all of which are supported by our VERA-V3 software solution.
- Tank wagon assignment: After the tank wagons have been entered into the system and assigned to loading orders, VERA-V3 calculates the quantity to be loaded and transmits it to the scale.
- Tare weighing: VERA-V3 performs tare weighing to determine the weight of the empty tank wagons. This weight is used as a reference for the subsequent gross weighing.
- Filling process: VERA-V3 monitors the loading process and stops filling as soon as the target quantity is reached.
- Gross weighing: After completion of the loading process, VERA-V3 performs another weighing and compares this gross weight with the previously determined tare weight.
RID stands for "Règlement concernant le transport international ferroviaire des marchandises dangereuses", in German "Ordnung über den internationalen Eisenbahnbeförderung gefährlicher Güter". It is an agreement that regulates the classification, packaging, labeling and documentation of dangerous goods and ensures safe transport by rail.
