VTA EMCS Release 2.5 successfully completed
We are pleased to announce that the certification of our VTA EMCS software for EMCS Release 2.5 has been successfully completed.
What has changed is that EMCS 2.5 now also covers the transport of excisable goods in free circulation. The previous paper procedure (simplified accompanying document) has thus been replaced.
The changes in detail:
- The release relates to the message groups EME, EMB and EMA
- Introduction of new legal entities: "certified consignor", "certified consignor in individual cases", "certified consignee" and "certified consignee in individual cases"
- Updating the print version of the e-VD/v-e-VD in accordance with the European Commission's requirements
Changes to the draft e-VD/v-e-VD or e-VD/e-v-VD:
- Renaming data field 17e "Gross weight" to "Gross mass"
- Renaming data field 17f "Net weight" to "Net mass"
All innovations can now be utilised via VTA-EMCS.
